BEWARE OF THE JERK FACES!

 Have you ever met someone that is the same gender as you who you become close with and who is amazing, beautiful, smart and talented beyond belief.. yet they are not appreciated or respected by the opposite sex? Well I have! I will go to the grave saying that have the best looking and talented circle of friends. So this post is to all girls out there who are amazing yet for some odd and unexplainable reason each guy they meet seems to turn out to be a complete and total JERK FACE.

 You might be asking what is a JERK FACE? 

The definition of a JERK FACE is a boy who:

1). Has a wonderful girl that is interested in him

2). Does not put in any effort to a relationship with the amazing girl

3). Thinks he can take advantage of her emotionally and yes sometimes... physically

4). Degrades, disrespects, and has a wondering eye

5). Is not man enough to say how he really feels and thinks that by defining the relationship it will ruin it

6). Drags a girl along by saying that he is not ready for a relationship but if he was, the amazing girl is who he'd want to be with.

7). Lastly a JERK FACE is a boy who doesn't realize what he's got till its gone!

So girls who are amazing, you are still amazing despite how the JERK FACE makes you feel. If the boy you are currently pining over, eating tubs of Ben and Jerry's over, or are currently trying to pursue is any of the criteria mentioned above... RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! There are too many amazing girls in this world and sadly there are too many JERK FACES as well. So don't think  for another minute about the boy that doesn't call you back, cannot take you out on a real date, refuses to show any form of affection to you in public, or is not man enough to tell you how he feels. He is not Prince Charming, he is a weak and sad excuse for a man. You are not going to change him and he is not going to wake up one morning and realize that you are the love of his life and he should treat you like it. He is a pseudo male and will remain that way till who knows when. Don't waste your time with a JERK FACE because there are boys out there in the world that are just as amazing as you and the sooner you delete the JERK FACE from your life the sooner an amazing man will sweep you off your feet. 

If he doesn't call... he doesn't really care

If he can't take you out on a real date... you are not worth the time or money to him

If he doesn't want to define what you are and considers a red box and making out on the couch an adult relationship... he is a child and most certainly a JERK FACE

If he cannot express how he feels about you or you have to be the one to say it first... he is not worth a thought, wasting another minute on your cell phone bill, or crying over.

Boys do better to find the amazing girls and amazing girls ditch the JERK FACES!

He is about to go into the MTC and is going to be serving a full time mission in the San Pablo Philippines Mission!!!! I could not be more excited for this boy that I have come to love in so many ways! He will be Great!!! 

How I know this F.P.O.T.W.

When I was 16 and moved back to California everyone and their dog...no really dogs like him... were obsessed with this kid named Trevor Brown. I vaguely remembered him before I moved and I did not get the fascination, UNTIL I talked to the little charmer and I was hooked! We bonded through out high school as I picked him up each morning before seminary. He would always eat bagels in my car and I hate when people eat in my car, but I was so in love with Trev that I let him and I even enjoyed watching him devour his bagels... enough about the bagels. So Trev is just one of those teddy bear people (except of the fact that he is anthesis of fat) because you just see him and he has his arms already stretched out and you get so excited because you know you are about to experience a Trevor Todd Brown hug... and those are just WONDERFUL! So basically it was love at first sight with this one!

Through out the years Meredith and I have...
Rode and washed our razor scooters on a daily basis, played colors in the pool, made bennie baby houses, consumed more brown sugar pop tarts then any human ever should, played Tony Hawk Pro Skater and would pause the game when their naughty undergarments would show, listened to WAY too much NSYNC and Brittney Spears, went to Disneyland multiple times, played with American Dolls, ate chocolate ice cream, had many sleep overs in our matching American Girl sleeping bags, collected pictures of dogs, went through an obsession with the brand Roxy from 1997-2001, went to many a girls camps, survived EFY 2004, enjoyed visiting each other in differnent states, had many late start dance parties in the Tesoro parking lot, quoted Mean Girls and Blades of Glory on an hourly basis, razor scootered around the RSM lake, she watched me get burnt like a lobster many a time, had many delightful chats at various parks through out Coto, had many rides in Foxy Boxy, the Corolla and Seth jr, got lost in Riverside and had to have Daniel (the boy who lives in Utah) get us back home and guide us through the area we have lived in for 17 years of our life, went 80's dancing at Area 51, and have enjoyed the Crest drive through. I love this women!!!!! My grandkids will know her and hear about her more times than they will want. She is a memory maker and my life would suck without her! I thought I'd ring in the holiday season with a list of why I am the luckiest person alive and why I have such an amazing life.

This church means everything to me and my membership in it is what I am most proud of in my life.

Wrigley gum, funny SNL skits, Burt Bee's chap stick, apple products, Crayola markers, good history books, Costco, good Utah drivers, letters in the mailbox, argyle socks, random people who smile at you on campus, Fall, driving in the car while listen to Taylor Swift with the windows down, Panini makers, J.Crew sale emails, hugging my baby sister, red roses, picnics up the canyon, Hidden Oaks, Glade scented products, William Sonoma, Boys who wear pea coats with nice scarfs, Golds Gym,  meeting people who agree that African Orphans are the best thing in the world, Boys who open the door for you,  long boarding, walking Cantamar with Annette, voice mails from my Daddy for no particular reason other then for him to just tell me he loves me, itunes, nike free's, text messages from M.L.Chaps that are just random characters, my gmail inbox on monday evenings, going to the temple with Nate, Gossip Girl after a long day of school and Harold, treadmills, mentos, old family pictures.
